Who's got a ZRX?

I'm looking for a measurement from a REX.
can someone please measure the distance from the center of the top shock bolt, to the center of the swingarm pivot bolt.
I have a ZRX12 rear end, and need this measurment to duplicate the shocks angle on my KZ.
Thanks Mark.

I have a 2000 ZRX1100. The distance I measured is 15.5 inches from center of the swingarm pivot bolt to the center of the top shock bolt.

Keep in mind that the ZRX swingarm is wider than a KZ swingarm. I have put one into my 84 KZ750 frame and you will have to move the top shock mounting point out a bit to ensure that the shocks are vertically aligned. Otherwise they will be wider on the swingarm than they are where they mount onto the frame. I had mounting brackets made that fit over the old shock mounting points and were tig welded on. I also used ZRX shocks as well.

I already have the complete zrx12 rear end on the bike. i find the shocks are too long, and make the bike high at the back. when i laid them down at the bottom they were too stiff. i cant get the proper sag settings with them as the are now(not enough sag).i plan to set them at the proper angle to ensure the valving and springs are correct. Then i will see about getting them shortened internally.
I have a 96zx9 front end. i will also try to raise the front an inch.
How do u find them?
Thanks very much. i appreciate your help.

Well, you can see from my pics where my bike is at (build wise) so I haven't actually sat on it yet. I have a 2005 ZX6 front end and ZX9 wheels on it now. It'll likely be a bit high in the back but I will have to wait and see how much.
