roy the burnt out motor is trying to tell you something buddy.flat black and wrinkle finish think about much easier to do and easier to take care off plus as a added bonus more surface area for better cooling.

Thanks Plummen. Time bomb,I'll have to lay off the high speed polish for now.

I just wanted to polish the fork tubes before i set it up on wheels.

I hope to have it on wheels with engine tomorrow night. Roy
