KZ900 shock setbacks was created by sbc1320
Anyone know where you can buy the shock setbacks(?)? I guess that is what those are called. I like the way the shocks look layed back a bit and also will lower it a bit too. Don't really have to lower it as I am about 5'11", but bike should handle a little better I would think. Mostly I just like the way they look.

1980 KZ1000 LTD-B4(MK II engine) - Progressive suspension, MTC pistons, Dynojet Stage III, all wear items replaced, WFO paint scheme(1978), etc..

Past bikes- 2 1976 Kz900's, 5 1975-76 Honda CB750's, Honda 500 -4, Honda 250, Honda 125, Honda 100, Suzuki RM 250, Honda XL350, Kawasaki KLR 650, etc..

you could make up a set your self fairly easy.

1973 z1 2-1974z1-a,2-1975z1-b dragbikes1015cc+1393cc, 1977kz1000,1978kz1000,1981kz1000j, 1997 zx-11, 2000 z12r,1428turbo nitrous pro-mod and a shit load of parts thats all for now leader sask.,CANADA

Or you could extend your swingarm. ;) When i installed a swingarm that was not as long as my present one it raised the bike up. Roy

or you can just watch the u.s ebay autions ...i see em pop up often....the ticket is a pretty hard insert to move the top post forward....anyway..i see em like ten times a year....

They are called a "lowering kit". I saw them on ebay every time I searched for KZ900 parts. I have a set on my bike, beware your header may scrape when going over bumps or turning into places that have a curb at the edge of their driveway.

1976 KZ900A4, 4-1 header, rear lowering kit, grab bar removed, still shining and painting parts as time permits

just keep in mind that there is a down side.
Your shocks will feel stiffer. as u lay them down it takes more force to compress the springs.
if u dont have the correct amount of preload sag the shocks will not perform properly.:(
