Tank mounting tab strength?

Like most older KZ's, mine has a tab welded to the back of the frame backbone for bolting down the back of the gas tank.

Would this tab be strong enough to also hold the front hinge of a solo seat? Like this....

I'd think if you made a doubler with additional bracing, then it might work.

I too would probably just strengthen it up some either some more plate and tie it into the frame some more or some tubing and tie it in.
