'76 KZ900 frame..

as some of you guys may know that I have been wanting to get my 900 running after a couple decades of it sitting there...the frame looks old, shoul i powdercoat it black to make it look good or what? thanks.

Paint, powder or Rhino Coat....hmmmmmmm. Influences are funds, ability and time. I guess chromed is out huh? I guess if it were me I'd lean towards powder. There is a nice chrome powder! Don't forget to prep it or you'll regret it whatever you choose.

If your doing a restoration you should paint it, if not powdercoat.

Powder coating will also hide any broken welds.
Epoxy paint is very tough stuff.
I've had good results with PJ1 paints.

i powdercoated my frame for my 810 build. It looks and turned out great, but there were a few things i wish i would have done to the frame, but the powdercoating kinda ruined any chances at me gettin a welder in there without making it look bad. I will prolly use paint from now on. But i guess on an original rebuild you shouldnt need to modify the frame

Powder coating may likely also result in loss of the vin information shown on the frame neck. 
Perhaps some type of protective covering is available during the powder-coating process.
