Anyone own a 79/80 1000ST??

I need to know the size of the center opening on the front disc brake hub, and the center to center spread of two farthest spread mounting bolt holes on the same. There are seven holes so it is an odd measurement. just pick one bolt and measure one four bolts away. I would really appreciate this. I would like to use these discs on a KZ1300 wheel and need to know if it will fit. These discs are particular to only these two bikes as far as I know. The 1000ST and the KZ1300 I believe are the only seven bolt brake disc mounts and they are not the same size discs and they have a different off set. What I need is the lesser offset of this particular disc for my 1300 wheel, so I can use it on my GPZ. I can buy these discs but don't want to spend the money and than find out that the disc won't fit on the wheel.

Another dimension that would really help me is the disc offset from the wheel mounting face. This dimension would be helpful since i do not know how different the hub with is between the 1300 wheel and the 1000ST wheel.

No one owns a 1000ST that can help me out???

You are right about his being inactive, but I'll call him tomorrow and tell him to get online and help out a fellow rider.

There are a lot of firsts and "one ofs" on the ST. and information is hard to come by.

It's kind of difficult to measure with the disk on the bike, but the disk brake bolts appear to be about 3 1/2 inches center to center. Now exactly what other measurement were you looking for?

sorry otakar, i'm about three hours away from my ST otherwise i could'a helped you out

I have already gotten the measurement I required, which was the size of the center hole in the mount plate on the disc. It is 70mm. That is the same size as on the KZ1300 wheel,on which I want to mount the discs. I wanted a 18" seven spoke Mag that would fit inside a standard KZ front end. The police wheels are too wide and 78 Z1R wheels are hard to come by. The 13 hundred wheels are relatively common and I have three of them. The offset on the 13 hundred discs is too much and the stock assembly would not fit inside the forks on my GPz the offset on the ST discs is very small and it will fit well inside the front end with the 13 hundred wheel. They both have a seven bolt mount pattern.

just got my Front discs for the 1000ST. They fit perfectly on the 13 Hundred wheel. This will be a perfect combo for my GPz.
