These were mentioned as part of of the mod list for the Yoshimura Stealth Fighter GSX-R in the November 09 edition of Cycle World.

For any of you using the late model Suzuki front end these can provide an additional 25mm leg length and maintain the adjustment provisions.

Pretty cool.

I don't know anyone that could make them for cheaper... Would be nice if we could have a safe longer version for the KZ conversions.

Please forgive my naiveté, but just what do these things do that make them worth $265? Do I understand correctly that these raise your front end about 1"? Why bother? It seems like such a minor change. What am I missing?

Little changes can make a big difference. Bikes geometry is changed quite a bit with typically a smaller front hoop and shorter nature of the modern USD Forks.

Adjusting tube length is also an option but finding a company to make longer legs for modern front ends seems few or far between.

This would take a little bit of the hit off changing to a 17" front hoop. ;)

It's an option in the arsinal...

Question outstanding is. Would going longer than 25mm be a bad idea?
