KZ FRONT END GSXR WHEEL??

Does anyone know if its possible to run a front wheel of a 90-92 GSXR1100 on a 77 KZ1000 with all the stock KZ front end parts triple trees, forks etc. Lets hear some opinions and some knowledge.

I'm pretty sure the Kz front end isn't going to be wide enough to slot it right in. I'm running a Kz1000C police frontend, which is wider than a normal Kz, so I can run a 17x3.5" rim. Rivman has put a newer sportbike rim in stock Kz forks but it took ALOT of machining. You might be able to find a rim from a GS500, that is styled like the bigger rims, but is narrower through the hub.

Summary: You can make it fit but it'd be cheaper/easier to find another rim/frontend.

The 19" kz tire is about 27" tall, and a 17" is about 24".
u will have to find a way to lower the fender.
i had a 110 19" tire on my kz forks. it was tight due to the fender bolts.
remember,that if u go 17", u need 1 with a speedo gear, if u want to reuse your speedo. a zrx,zx9 have 1.
