My new toy..78 KZ 650
23 Nov 2009 19:05
New to the site and sure could use some help. I've stripped down a 78 KZ 650 and think I want to stetch the swing arm a bit. I'm trying to do everything as cheaply as possible. Does anyone know of a stock swingarm from another bike that will bolt right in? Really apprciate the help!
Thanks

If she's in good enough shape, why not bring her back to original?

KZ900/1000 swingarms will fit and they are about an inch and a half longer.
A longer arm will slow the steering a bit.

Hi! Defintely interested in a mold and pad/covered base. I've got a plywood base roughed out and it looks like I could remount the orginal hardware to that (or some other kind of wood or steel base) and then I'm a little lost as to how a molded seat would attach to that. But I'm interested n what you've got and maybe buying one from you.
Thanks
