Stephan aka (kawsakiman) just called and told me my frame is on the way. It was in Pennsylvania when he called.

This is my 650 I will be swaping frames with. She has been sitting for a number of years now and she looks a little rough , but thats the fun of the project.

remember to lay motor on its side then drop frame down over it to install,much easier.

Still recovering,some days are better than others.

Is that really easier? I usually put a milk crate or bucket next to it then straddle the frame and manhandle it. That is how I have always done the 900. If it is the easier way I might try it. What is the dead weight difference between the 900 vs the 650, the 650 seems like childs play compared to the 900. But I guess age will dictate this one.

I have discovered the first differences in the frames.
The foot peg mounts are different. The 77 is solid mount with a single bolt while the 79 is rubber mounted with two points of connection. Now I will have to add pegs to my wish list.
