Straightening handlebars?

The '82 KZ750H I got recently suffered a fall just before I got it. The right side of the handlebar got bent back and down a bit. Not too big a problem but sure feels weird, and tends to limit turning the forks to the right.

How difficult are they to bend back? Or would it be simpler in the end to just replace them? And if so, how much of an angle can the front brake resovior be at and still hold enough fluid? Thanks!

Both orifices at bottom of reservoir must remain always submerged. Otherwise, air is allowed into the bore.

Where fluid level constantly exceeds gasket height, it's likely to eventually leak.

Think of a bottle of Coca-Cola in the fridge. Standing upright it can't leak through the cap. But laid on its side, the potential is there to leak through the cap.

And, Yes, it's best to replace the bars. I have attempted many times but never had any luck trying to straighten bent handlebars. Even with the bare bar laid on a flat surface, and measurements aplenty. Old bars do work pretty well as metal stock to cut spacers from.

Good Luck! :)
