ZX12 swing arm on a 76 A4

OK so heres a dumb question how do you keep the swingarm centered. Made spacers but it still has float side to side. Do I need to make bushings or will the chain and shocks locate the swingarm?

If that swing arm floats even a little bit, you will be munching on pavement. It will be like riding a bucking Bronco.

yeah what he said. You do not wnat any movement there. You need to make some spacers to center the swinger in the frame.

Shim the arm so it is just a snug fit. then when u draw the arm bolt tight,it will pinch the frame and snug up against the arm.
some arms have side thrust bearings in them, some don't.tighten accordingly.

The gsxr arm doesn't have a thrust bearing, figure a bronze bushing should work. Thanks guys for all the insight.
