looks like a 78 A series according to frame ,stator cover makes me wonder if something has been done with bottemend or crankshaft anyway

Ok had to go to photo bucket! Anyways this is it, i bought it from eBay for 1030.55! the guy was a little shocked that it didnt fetch more as was I! It pretty much has everything chrome you can get for it,triple trees,all engine covers,swing arm,fork are even chrome. Carb top and bottoms are chrome, it has around 24k on the speedo but it had a wiseco 1075cc kit installed a year ago with 1000 miles on the bike since then. All the brake lines are braided,the electrical is all DYNA..yea..lol I was very excited! It is missing one of the side covers but i already bought one. I rode the bike when i got to it but when i got it back home it wouldn't start so i drained the tank(smells like old gas) i am replacing the plugs tomorrow,and all the gas lines and filters. The guy even gave me about a $1000 worth of spare parts!! I am real excited about it, gonna make it as pretty as i can this winter and get a few months of riding in this year. I took the bags off,and am going with a little more lower bar style but that's about it besides paint.

where in ny did you pick that up?

Yeah i wthought so as well. A guy that is into kz's offered me almost triple what i paid,no chance........

when you get bored one day and have the valve cover off count the number of teeth on your cam chain sprockets and post what it is.

Nice, very nice. Looks like you scored well! Just my opinion... lose the fugly cage on the sides of the cylinders and the front chrome covers over the calipers. Very nice deal!!
