Quick question, actually 2,what newer frontend (usd fork) will fit on a 76 kz900 with minimal work, as i've been told a zx7 frontend and a tl1000 front end will go with just a bearing swap. Question 2,how wide of a rear wheel will go in a gs1100 swing arm,and what kind of modifications will need to be made to the arm to fit the wheel. like a ninja or gsxr wheel.

You'll get lots of answers here. Tons of guys have done this conversion. If you are going to use wheels from a gsxr etc, why not use the matching swingarm so it saves you modifying a wheel.

For the rear wheel you will need either spacers made or have the hub cut down. Not sure about the front but if it is a drop in it will be the first time I have heard of it. You will probably need to use the kz stem with the zx7 clamps.

You can use pretty much ANY front end with just a stem swap. Take care to buy a complete front end though, or as far as possible, or it can end up costing you more than you thought. That means forks, yokes (triples), handlebars, wheel, brakes, mudguard, wheel spindle with all the spacers etc. Have a think about what you are going to do about the clocks, lights and switchgear too.
