81 KZ650 sprocket question

I'm going to be replacing chain and sprockets on my 81 KZ650, is there any other sprockets that will work aside from OEM replacement?

No, most likely. A shaft conversion might be possible.
As for the sprockets, a bigger front 630 sprocket on the CSR will be a tight fit. A 530 chain & sprockets might work better. Although I don't know much about this sort of thing, I wouldn't go smaller than a 30T rear, assuming you don't change the front 13T.

Okay, I wasn't too sure about the belt drive, thought I'd toss it out tho.
As for the chain, I'm gonna change out to a 530, just need to figure out what sprockets are needed

Ok, maybe somebody can verify this info for me. OE front sprocket has 14 teeth while rear has 33 with an 84 link chain. Going by the 630 to 530 conversion guide on Z1, to retain stock ratios, I would swap to a 17 tooth front and 41 tooth rear (keeping the 13 tooth spline up front) with a 101 link chain.
Is this correct?

That's the equivalent ratio to stay close to what you have, which apparrently is one tooth up from stock on the front. Lots of people go up one on the front because these bikes are all geared too low stock.front sprocket has 14 teeth while rear has 33 with an 84 link chain.
