I'm shopping some wreckers today for rear sets as well. I like those zx7 ones old man rock did. How much modification was needed?

Solid no flex. I'm around 230lb. I used to be able to scrape peg without issue. These hadn't touched down at all even with the ear feeler on. If memory serves me correctly the frame mount is the stock location for the Gpz. So the frame attachment was rated for two pegs and the massive aluminum plate that was on either side for rider and passenger pegs... Should be able to handle littl'ol me. :)

Or were you talking to OMR Tri?

Derek at Motolab made this set. Our goal was one inch back and up. I think it's a little more than that. Still comfortable. Places my feet under me to help with big bumps.

He should have the CAD drawings for these on file.

Tell him Sean sent you. ;)

No... I originally thought about it at the time this image was taken awhile back but talked myself in getting off my ass and doing it right... Which meant had to do some kick-stand modifications & spring location changes.

And I also didn't like the bolt upside down..

The pattern is 1 down 4 up...

I had a CB350 with over sized carbs back in the late 70's that had that set up... Once you get used to it, was a blast during accelerations but once in awhile I'd screw it up and downshift when I wanted to up shift... :S

Talk about having your nut sack thrown to the tank.

There are two additional mounts welded to the frame for the MC. They also hold the muffler hanger these days.

New shifter linkage is a must.
