i think the spectre was just an ltd version of kz/csr bike,if youre just looking for gold forks might i suggest dupli color? :laugh:

I know the 80-81 Yamaha XS850 Forks fit the KZ triple trees. Not sure about the XS trees on the KZ though.

There are lots of choices if you are willing to change the stem.

1982 KZ1000 LTD parts donor
1981 KZ1000 LTD awaiting resurrection
2000 ZRX1100 not ridden enough

I am thinking that I will just get the forks, and the tripple tree Anodized, that way I will be forced into replacing all the bearings and seals. I will upgrade the spring to while doing that..
