forrest...wd 40 is great for many things but it is not a penetrating oil per say it is a water dispersant hence the wd name. yes it stops squeaks and all that but do yourself a big favor and buy some kroil or pb blaster for future uses..trust us we all know...keep the shiny side down

Yup, I understand about WD-40 and its properties. I appreciate the heads up on the Kroil(heard of this one) and PB Blaster. I did not have any of those at my house so I used what I had. I just wanted to get the stud to begin turning and thought I would try one more time before going back out at 9:00 pm for true penetrating oil. I will definitely get one of those for future use. Thanks for posting fixer.
