Hello everyone. Still looking for a sissy bar to fit my 1982 J2. Been looking at all the usual (and unusual) sources for about 6 months now, but no luck thus far. If you know of one or see one, please let me know. Thanks.

im not sure if this will help. (not trying to show off either) but after cutting the frame shorter on my kz750 i had no where to mount a sissy bar to i had to have one custom made for the application, had a blacksmith make it. and weld it on(most people will from upon that though) but just givin ya the idea of an unusual place to look for one.

That's a way to do it demonseed and I do appreciate the insight. I'm coming up empty with my search and will need to think of alternative ways just like you did.
