Frame says 77
Z1 site down
Elsewhere says 78
Insurance company doesn't know but won't insure unless I tell them

I would tell them its a 77 and be done with it

It's a 1978 number. 508xxx-515xxx was 1978

The '77 date on the frame does not conflict with the bike being a '78 because they started making '78's some time in later 1977. The date on the BOS was probably taken off the frame. Ed

Thanks guys. Geico girl said no coverage if date is wrong. GA registration will let BOS slide as is.
