rear shock leaking oil was created by terry s
Is there a fix for a leaky shock other then relacement? I have a 1980 1000 ltd where is a reasonable priced supplier?

OEM Kawasaki shocks are not rebuildable. Replacement is the only option. Z1 has OEM stile replacements or you can buy shocks from Progressive, which is what I did. The Chinese ones will cost you about a hundred bucks and the American "Progressive" will cost you about Two Fifty.

I can vouch for the quality of these shocks and the seller (Dave Quinn) in personally setting them up for your specific requirements after discussing your riding style, weight, accessories, etc. I have them on my KZ650 and they are top quality in every respect. Bodies and shrouds are made of stainless steel. They're from Great Britain, Dave Quinn is the US distributor. Ed
