How long did you want to go? A gs1100e swingarm is almost 2 inches longer.

Not sure what size Kawasaki you have, but here is a link to a site that still makes swingarms for the 900/1000 KZ:

are you going to a wider wheel & tire or sticking with the stock wheel and tire and just wanting to extend it?

you will need to nail down the particulars so that you make sure you get what you want.you can do anything you want as long as you know what you want.your stock swinger can be stretched or you can find one off of something that can be modded to fit or get one scratch built.

Curious, why do you want to extend the 650 swingarm? I'm looking at bracing and hadn't thought the 650 needed a longer one. Wider tire I could see if you wanted to go that way.
On a side note, search for swingarm swaps, there are some good ones from zrx, gsxr, and others. The ZRX should give a longer swingarm, and it stays with the older twin shock look.

Back in the day, my friend had a kz 650 with an atp turbo kit, and he supposedly took a swingarm off a kz1000 and put on there and added 2 inches. Anyone ever heard of this? Do they interchange??

yes the kz1000 swingarm will work but requires bit of clearancing to pivot area to make it work
4" over will make your bike handle/corner like a schoolbus
