gas cap leak

I found on myKZ550 that the scews holding the cap on are leaking fuel .. BAD .. going down the road getting fuel all over,, I am trying to seal them with RTV but any other sugestions welcome ,, :) B)

uh, take the whole cap off and go to the hardware store and purchase two ne O-rings that fit in the grooves under the cap at the bolt holes.

The sealer is holding BUT didnt know that O rings went under the cap mounting ,, Both tanks I have none ,, Thanks For the Reply ,, Shoeman
