I found what is supposedly a GPZ750 turbo boxed aluminum swing arm for $50 locally. I have not looked at it yet, does any one know what he dimensions are or if it is dual shock?

Oh well, fitting shock mounts is not too much work. I just happened to call the local cafe/junk guy and he just picked up an aluminum GPZ750 turbo swingarm. I figure that will likely be the easiest swap into a KZ650 for the least ammount of $ as GS1100 arms are harder and harder to find while getting more and more expensive.

I can't find any swingarm specs online, anybody has any ideas let em loose.

Oh my god, it's so sick. Will post pics in a moment I must just sit and look a while longer. The rear wheel tensioner is a rolling crimp style, so clean, so beutiful. And the shock mounts can be removed and reused for dual shocks. Oh, I'm so happy. :silly:

see if you can get the rest of the setup and make it a mono shock.
they also polish up nicely.
good score for $50.

I'm sticking with dual shock, I just like the way it looks.

i have to agree withyojymbo on the dual shock look, just looks right on these old bikes, i have seen some really sano conversions to a mono shock set up, but i still favor the dual set-up
