Alot of people use gold wing shocks - not sure of the height, but taller than GS shocks

I don't mean to hijack your thread but, what bike will you be fitting these on?

I just finished measuring for shocks with the GS arm on my '80 LTD and found that I needed 13" shocks to get it to ride the same height as stock. My stock arm rides just above the muffler mounts and the stock shocks are 13.5".

Just curious as to the frame differences.

this is going on a 1979 kz1000 mkII. as i measured, i may be able to get away with 14 inch. but i think the height would be way better with 14.5. so are there any bikes that have that length?

"Lead Wing" shocks by "Progressive" Part #12-1205B 14" long.
They ride great and put the bike in a pose which makes it handle like a sport bike should.

14.5" would be way to long. these shocks measure out at 14.25" true, and could be 1/4" shorter for my taste. But they do make the bike handle great.
