Calling all Gearheads! was created by 76 KZ900
I have searched on the site and have found numerous people who have done swing arm/fork swaps on the 900s. I have a 76 kz900A4 and I am looking at a project for me and my father to work on together. I have seen many folks have used GSXR forks and swing arms and also newer model kawis. My question is... What swaps have the members here on this site been able to complete? Year, make, ect. I would like to have a list so I have an idea which bikes would be applicapble donors. Much appreciated.

If you are talking about his project, I have been following him along since he posted it. I know he used zx636 front forks and I believe a zx6 swing arm. (Correct me if I am wrong). Yes he definetly has an awesome build, but hes not the only one on the site that has completed a successful swap.

Contact KZR member (via PM) Donthekawguy on this site. He just finished installing a GS1100 swingarm on his KZ1000A2.

I've got two GS1100E swing arms for sale. If someone on here wants them, I'll sell them. Otherwise they are going on eBay in the next few days.

The first one includes:

- swing arm (bearings are still in great shape and were greased regularly)
- pivot shaft
- spacers for pivot shaft
- pivot shaft seals
- spacers for axle
- axle
- three year old shocks that fit and work well on this conversion. These have an eyelet on top and clevis on the bottom. They are also black bodies with chrome springs.

I glass bead blasted the swing arm a year ago and then scuffed it with scotch brite. Works well and is really easy to clean. This would be a very easy install. Almost kit like!

The second swing arm is GS1100E as well and it's just the swing arm. It does have seals and bearings as well. It's in stock condition and fairly clean.

If interested let me know.

I took the first swing arm off of my bike because I acquired a Cal-Fab.
