GS1100 Swingarm installation was created by Kojack1982
Ok i've posted a number of questions on this subject but I want this to go as easy as posible with as little thought (of my own) as possible. Im looking to install a larger rear tire and have heard of people using the katana rim.

My question is if anyone has installed the swingarm with a larger wheel what exactly was your setup
-Chain length?
-offset?
-rim make and width
-any other adjustments of parts I would need to make it work

Thanks for all your help and sorry for being a noob.

I am using a 5.5 Akront rim on a suzuki hub. I had to have a spacer made. I am using a 530 chain and sprockets. The rear sprocket is pretty big-43 teeth which is about 38 in the 630. I tried to use a 110 link chain but it was short. I'm ordering a 120 link soon. I think I lucked out and won't need an offset sprocket. I'm using a 140 width tire.

Howdy. Z1000R ´83
- ´98 GSXR1100 USD front
- ´99 ZRX1100 rear swing.
- Brakes: front ´Tokico 6-piston calibers off the above GSXR
Rear: Opposed piston caliber off ZRX
- Rims: front GSXR, rear ZRX
- Rear shocks: Öhlins piggy-bags

My advise is try to find a whole rear section, swing+rim+brakes cause then you´ll "only" have to worry about swing pivot point widht and chain-line. Still it´s not a one-niter, takes h#ll of a lot time to make it right.

Here´s mine story bout latest swap I made:
