Hello, I am trying to find a backrest for my 82 kz1000 ltd. I found one on ebay for a 80 kz750 ltd. Can anyone tell me if the mounting dimensions would be the same? Is a 750 the same bike as a 1000 except for the motor? Thank You, Ron

I'm not 100% sure but if it's a 4 cylinder 750 you can probably get it to fit. If it's from a 750 twin then it might not as I'm sure the chassis is different. I found a backrest/luggage rack off a 900 for my 82 LTD and it bolted right on no problem.

also, as I mentioned in a thread yesterday the universaal K&G sissybars fit perfect, I put one on my 82 1000 LTD no problem

universaal K&G? How much and where? The only universal I saw was from JC Whitney.
