Please I need to see some photos of kz650 bobbers! I am doing a custom build & I want to see if these engines are too wide. It is between the kz650 &XS650. Please post pics & links...

the yammy xs650 is alot smaller of an engine. the xs650 pretty much fits between the rails a 7 1/4" an the kz650 still hangs over the rails at 10 1/2" if i remeber right with the covers its almost 14" wide on the lower case. the kz would look alot like a honda cb750, to get you a closer idea.

Thanx guys. That actually doesn't look bad at all. My question is, is the kz650 as big as the cb750? I thought it was smaller? Also any photos of that bike from the front & top so I can see how far it sticks out? Thanx!

Sorry about these pics. I took these before I had my new digital camera, so the detail isn't quite there

Here it is from the front. It isn't the best angle, but that is all I have on this bike.

I wish I knew how to post all of the pics together. Anyhoo... Here is the final pic of the left side of the engine. I hope these will give you a better idea of the size and width.

yeah that does look kind of wide from those angles. My question is how much bigger is it than a cb550 or how close to a cb750 is it? Anyone have measurements of above engines? Thanx man!

the kz650 is as wide as a cb750. within a 1/2" differance. the cb750 is taller by about 2 inches.
