Ok got my 1000 ltd B3 running and the stock seat is in good shape but my legs are more comfy in the middle of the height change from front to back. front is too close and all the way back is to far.

anyone have a suggestion on a better seat?

Could consider the flat seat from a standard (non-LTD) model. Or perhaps a Corbin seat.

Good Luck! :)

I had the same issue when I switched to that style seat on my A1 went back to the original seat (flat) and am exploring replacing with a seat from a KZP or refoaming with memory foam> It can be a real pain in the arse!
Good Luck!

i always sit in the middle of the hump in the seat also, kind of gotten used to it.ive slidden off the back a few times in my younger days using the old ironing board seats so im not much of a fan of them!

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Why don't you add foam and build it up like you like?

Or, rather than adding you can take away a little to get the shape you want. I had the same style seat on my 650 and found myself constantly riding on the hump. I didn't like the flat seats as they remind me of the old banana seats on Schwin bikes in the 70's. So, I took off the old cover, shaved the foam to fit what I was going for and paid a local guy $60 to recover it for me (first I tried to sew a cover for it myself, but it turns out that you have to have talent to do something like that). Those humps are mostly foam and even after cutting off a considerable ammount they still have plenty of cusioning ability. All in all I am pleased with the results and feel much more comfortable with the new riding position. Do whatever you feel best suits your needs and budget, but I for one am a fan of doing as much as I can on my own before paying someone else. Good luck!
