front forks 1983 KZ 750 LTD

How do you check the oil level in the front forks? and how much air should they have? The forks were rebuilt but are very soft, might have lost some oil. thanks

i have a factory manual if you give me a day i'll find the proper air pressure and oil amounts

1973 z1 2-1974z1-a,2-1975z1-b dragbikes1015cc+1393cc, 1977kz1000,1978kz1000,1981kz1000j, 1997 zx-11, 2000 z12r,1428turbo nitrous pro-mod and a shit load of parts thats all for now leader sask.,CANADA

i just found it air pressure is 8.5psi-13psi oil type from factory is 10wt. oil amount is 297ml+-4ml the fork oil heights are 103+-2mm FORKS FULLY COMPRESSED

+2 and also check the oil wt.

Example = 5wt. oil (too soft)
20wt. oil (too stiff)
