police rear fender/seat on an '81 kz1000-k?

Does anyone know if it's possible to mount a police rear fender/seat on an '81 kz-1000k? I'd like to do this with as little modification to the frame as possible. Hopefully I'd be able to easily swap back the original seat when it's needed. Thanks

I have a police seat on my 1981 KZ1000 CSR. The hinges all line up. Just put in the seat pins and you're good to go. It is a very comfortable seat. I took a rear seat pad from a late model Honda Shadow, uncovered it, drilled three 1/4" holes in the pan, recovered it and put it on the rear frame with wing nuts under the fender.

Very cool. That's just what I wanted to hear. Also, thanks for the idea for the rear seat pad. I hadn't thought about adding one yet. It would solve having to swap seats every time someone wanted a ride. Do you have any pics of it?
