gsxr rear master cylinder swap was created by hardr0ck68
Today I got my bike back on the road again after some repairs and upgrades.

I powder coated some parts (already chipped it on one caliper... damn it  )

I added stainless brake lines (all a touch long but that's better than to short )

I changed to DOT 5 cause I hate bleeding the brakes and finding paint bubbled off the next day

caliper rebuild kits

But the biggest change was I added a gixxer rear master cylinder. The swap seemed easy at first but quickly ended up in the hands of my mechanic buddy. I will post pictures tomorrow, but we ground off the old master cylinder mount, fashioned a new bracket; he cut the brake rod and welded it to a tube, the tube was threaded to fit the master cylinder's rod and it was all bolted up. Heck there is even a threaded hole on the battery box that the fluid reservoir bolts to.

It all fits great, I have loads of adjustability and since there was no rebuild kit for my rear master it was the easiest way to get fresh rubber in there.

I know, this thread is useless without pictures but you will have to wait till I can get the bike in some light. It was apart for 3 weeks now, so I used all the daylight riding it!!
