blackbanshee was gonna hook me up with a 530 custom made offset3/8 for my kz then i got to thinking....Figured i would try it myself...Came out ok,i have a full machine shop at my disposal:P
Watch it folks,i have sticky fingers when it comes to a nice looking set of handle bars:)

Now i'm running a 190 tire,5.5 inch wide rear wheel and got it all lined up. I gotta get a 44 tooth or a 42 tooth rear sprocket but other than that it's pretty much spot on. Rolling the 530 chain now.. :silly:

nice job as long as they are true why shouldn't you be able to make your own the one thing that has always stopped me from doing my own is how are the sprockets heat treated after they are welded i've always been nervous about that myself.

hehe,my second one took "a little modification" to be able to get the lock tab folded up aswell.

did you quench or do any heat treating?while mine were still smokin i dunked them in some used oil(plummen said something about using saltwater to quench)and when i pulled the 17 tooth one off after a little over 2500 miles it looks untouched,lil if any wear.
