Hey guys, I want to ditch the greasy alloy wheels on my '80 KZ750LTD. Are there wire wheels out there that would work as replacements?

Yeah, I don't like um. I think they're ugly.

How many dollaridoos are we talkin and where are you located.

I'll need to know 100% that they will work before I buy anything.

Word, Mag wheels are greasy.

Worst part about the KZ, other than dual exaust and rear fenders, but that is true of almost every factory bike.

Do you have a rear disc brake or a drum brake? What size are your axles(mm dia.) My wheels are for a disc brake and are 19" front and 16" rear. I live in Chicago. Any FAIR offer will not be refused. Because the outer rim is Aluminum, they will not rust. Here is a picture of the rear wheel, the front is in storage. I will clean them up before I would ship them.

What 750-Ltd is it? Twin or Four?
If it's a four & no one can say for sure what'll work, measure the center-to-center distance between the 2 disks & measure the diameter of your disks.

The KZ1000-CSR wire wheels are probably going to be the best bet.

I have disks front and rear. To be honest, I don't even know what a fair offer would be. I'm willing to bet that shipping is going to cost me a PILE!

It's a 4cyl. OK I'll do some measurements. Do you think I need to do spindle measurements? I'm not overly excited about taking the wheels off.

spindle = axle?
Using the cross-reference at Kawasaki.com, the 1000CSR has the same front axle. I don't know about the rear.
