Broken spoke

How bad is it to ride my kz650 with a broken spoke? Of course the one that broke had the weight on it.

not a good idea it's only a matter of time before the other ones start to snap as well.

Leo, please, at least bounce a wrench against all other spokes. a broken spoke is a wake-up call. in itself no big thing, but.. if others are loose/tight or wheel wobbles represents hazard. old spoke/nipples frequently seize to each-other thus feeling tension is poor. banging a spoke with what ever, will give either a tone, or thud. if in doubt, consult w/a pro. your' broken spoke probly is no hazard, just a nuceance, remove bit. however additional loose spokes will in turn be digging into tube and or allowing wheel to wander and cause others to fail. I may be a ninny, but I'm an old ninny, and still riding. G
