01-03 GSXR fork swap?

Other than not being USD forks is the 600 of the same year as the GSXR 750 the same swap? They are way cheaper and I'm on a budget. Also, do the brakes have to be changed if keeping the stock wire wheel?

The 600/750/1000 frontends all interchange with no mods. You'll have to do something with the brakes as the Gsxr disks are further apart and a different diameter and thickness compared to the stock Kz brake setup.

GSXR has 17" front wheel. That´s probably smaller diam. as your stock is so brake disk may not be the same diameter either. Also new rims are wider that KZ originals. So all in all keeping the old wire wheel may not be as simple as it looks.

Thanks guys, I just picked up a set of 01-03 GSXR forks for $50. Going to use the stock ones I just rebuilt until I can work out what to do with them.
