no cush drive wheels safe.
14 May 2009 18:08
I'm building a cafe out of a gpz 750 and want 17 inch spoked wheels. The easiest and probably the cheapest way would be to just pick up a set of supermoto wheels off ebay. My main concern would be the fact they don't have the cush drive. But other bikes don't run cush drives either. would it be safe does anyone have any experience running without a cush drive. Any info would be appreciated.

youll be fine,it actually will cut some weight not having cush drive just a little harder on chain/sprockets depending on ridingstyle

be carefull of hard launches as not having a cush drive can be tough on clutch baskets but for the street youshould be fine.
