When looking at the backside, look for a spring loaded retainer wafer. Just around the edge on the cylinder plug. In your picture I can see the end of the plug. See if there's a wafer/clip on the outer edge of the end of the plug. If there is, it should push towards the center of the plug. Then push/pull out the plug while holding the retainer in.
If there in no retainer wafer seen, then it will be further into the plug (not showing).
It will still need to be pressed in, but finding it will be the trick.
On my '78 KZ I cut a key on a longer blank. This long blank reached the retainer and allowed the plug to be pulled out with the longer key.
Using a small probe you may be able to reach in past where the working key reaches and depress the retainer by pushing the probe to one side or the other and pulling on the plug from the front.
Once out, the tumbers can be rearranged to a different key.

Yes, no retainer wafer on the outside.
I am trying to probe the inside of the cylinder to depress something, but no paper clip, jewelers screw drivers, GPz cut or blank key, nor lock pick probe I have is releasing it. Do you know if the cylinder should be in any particular orientation, ie in the locked or rotated in the unlocked position?
Thanks

No, I don't know if it needs to be in a certain position.
Can very well be it has a lug that only lets it out when ON or something.
Lots of times it will (if it needs to be in a certain position) need to be turned from off. Design so some one without a key (thief) cannot remove it.
Can also be designed not to come apart.
Sorry.
Check with a local Locksmith or send it to me with a working key if you've got the time.
