Nope those appear to be from an earlier Z-1 900, I'm not expert enough to tell you which year they are from but the 76 KZ900 guages should look like this.

Hi, I am coming to replace the backs on my clocks and I know they are not the original. In order to find the right backs do you which model they came off. I actually have a suspicion they are none-Kawasaki, maybe Honda?

My bike is a KZ1000 CSR 1982. The temp gauge is not connected and not used.

my 76 has an 8500rpm red line.
1 THING I MUST SAY, I DINT BUY THIS BIKE NEW, SO THERE IS NO WAY TO BE 100% SURE MINE IS ORIGINAL. BUT I HAVE OWNED IT SINCE 1980 SO IT IS LIKELY ORIGINAL.(SORRY, CAP LOCKS ON)

bump. The only 2 speeds I have seen in the kz 1000 bike are 160mph and 85 mph.not seen a 140 mph.also if there is anything else in the tach it usually is a fuel gauge not a temp gauge.that tach looks like it might have come from a water cooled bike.bj
