81 kz 750 swingarm

hello everyone... i havebeen searching the forums about the swingarms... i want to extend mine about 2 or three inch's i see folks talkin about gs 1100 or gsxr or zx 9 swing arms but there fitting them to kz 900 or 1000...my question is will it fit on a 750 frame as well and what mods will i have to make.thanks for any help:)

will fit with about the same amount of work required as the big kz's. I am using a 2004 gsxr1000 swingarm on my 650 frame. Just make sure you know what you're getting into, search sportbike how-to to get an idea of what it is going to take to make it work. The gs swingarm swap is quite a bit less modifying i think, but have not done one myself.

I,ve got a deep braced on my 500 that was origionaly fitted to a 750. Cone roller bearings plus shims.
The frames may be the same thing,but I dont know anyone with a 500 and a 750 to find out and ol ma kawa's been in a permanent strop wrt info on the 79-80 500.
But then I dont know anyone else with a 500.
But at my age, I don't know ... eh? eh?
