I need some help solving a mystery - solved
02 May 2009 09:18 - 02 May 2009 10:37
Everyone here was so helpful in helping my husband solve his non-working headlight mystery that I am hoping you can help us solve a brake pad mystery. My husband owns a 1976 KZ900. It has disc brakes in the back. They need replaced. He had a flat tire the other day and when he took the wheel off the brakes just fell apart. We looked online and I can not find these brake pads. Can you please help us? Did the KZ900's have rear disc brakes? He has had many issues with this bike where things are not what they should be. Like a speedometer cable that was too short even though it was for his bike. We think perhaps before he bought the bike it was modified. Here is a picture of the brakes that were on the bike. Thanks for all of the help.

Thank you for the response. I can not, no matter how hard i try get the pictures to show up here. Anyway, I followed the link and they are not the ones. The ones off of his bike are square. they are about 2 1/4" by 2" and have 2 holes at the top. I will keep trying to get the pictures to load. Thanks.

These are the brakes that my husband has on his bike.

They are the square ones. Sorry it took me so long getting back to everyone, but I had a broken computer and just got a new one. Thank you very much for all of the help.
