First project bike, several questions!

Hi there I recently traded some stuff for a 78 kz650 c2. It is in pretty bad shape but it has a title, in texas this is a must. I recently stripped it down to the frame. The engine looks ok but it could use a bore so I got some replacement jugs/rings/pistons off of ebay that are in better shape, they can get by with a hone. Is there a way to get rings for this bike? So this leads to my next question, I have been searching the forums but there is to much info. What swingarm will bolt up to my bike? Is a 900 or 1000 swingarm longer? Is the gs1100 swingarm the way to go? Is there a lot of mods to get this to work? My front end is pretty crappy what modern front end is the easiest swap? And finally are caliper rebuild kits hard to come buy for my bike? Sorry for all of the questions but I am all alone here.

First of all, Howdy from Dallas. Z1Enterprises has many hard to find parts for your bike. I'm not going to comment on your swing arm situation because I do not know enough about that bike. Good luck on the rebuild. eBay is another source for some Kawasaki parts.

Rings (standard) are still available from Kawasaki and can be ordered through www.Z1Enterprises.com (probably cheaper than through any Kawasaki outlet)...and where the hell in Texas are you?
