whats the best way to lube the chain since we dont have center stands on our bikes?,,im an army of me and any easy way you know of will greatly be appreciated,,,tia......its a 79 ltd 1000

I use a good spray lube. I use a cloth to keep over spray off of my tire and spray part of the chain(on the lower end) move the Bike and do the next group until the whole chain is lubed.

You can put a center stand on a LTD and remove it after you service the bike. Roy

That peglift looks like it'll do the job, but $239!:ohmy:
I went to Autozone, and bought a $25 floor jack. I just slide it under the engine (from the right side), and pump it about 3 times. Lifts the rear wheel so I can spin it. It helps to put the side stand on a 2x4 block before you lift it, that way the bike doesn't lean too much when you use the jack.

Silly as it sounds, get on eBay and search under swingarm stand. There are plenty and reasonably priced. Easy to use and your bike is safely supported.
