i have a 81 650csr H1 and noticed in the repair manual the spec for fuel tank volume for a F2 was a gln more,would this tank be a direct bolt on fit.i would like the extra gln if i can find one.

I don't believe it will be a direct bolt on. More important though is the fact you have slide carbs on your bike. I also have an 81 CSR650 and recently I noticed that the location for the petcock differs between the 650 and the 750 LTD. Those bikes share the same frame so the tank will bolt on but due to clearance issues with the CV carbs used on the 750 the mounting point for the petcock is farther forward on the 750. Only took me 29 years to notice this little difference.:laugh:
