I have a new problem now with my suspension rebuild. I got a wheel off ebay with a 18inch akront rim. The hub is off of a gs750 I think. In order for the brake to work I need the gs forks but of course they only made them with 35mm tubes. Now I'm thinking if I can find out if a kz came with 35mm tubes, and the tripple clamps fit in my 77 1000, I can just switch it over and all will be good. Of course it can't be that easy but you never know. If I can't do it that way I'm thinking maybe I could build a bracket and use a gs750 caliper and bolt it up to the kz forks. :(

Never mind the rim is to narrow to use a street tire on. :( Looks like I have to bite the bullett and get a new rim.
