swap meet find

well i went to swap meets this weekend and i got a few goodies, first swap meet it was put on by the h/a in edmonton and i got 3 wheels for 300.00 first one is 18-5.5 v-rod rear inperfect condition solid disc wheel then the second was for a buddy of mine a v-rod solid disc wheel and last one is a rim from a xb-12 buell 17 inch with rim mounted brake disc not sure what to do with that one but it is cool and very light. next swap meet i went to i got a line on some dragbike stuff that the guy is getting out of because he went to an 8 sec car tire suzi.i got a 78 ltd frame with a gs 1100 swingarm already mounted,2 fuel tanks one rough one mint a 4.25-18 kz hub with a sun rim that will be going on my bike and a whole bunch of engine pieces including a perfect j head and a set of j cases crank and tranny. also got 2 sets of kz 1000 cases and a older vance and hines sportsman pipe so it was a good weekend oh as well i got a brand new goodyear front runner race slick mounted on a gpz 305 front wheel i have to go thru every thing to see what i can use but i might have some goodies up for sale soon.

Yeah I'm really disappointed I couldn't come down for that.

it gets better the edmonton swap meet is about a 6 hour drive and the red deer swap meet was about 2 hours south of that so when i ended up in reddeer saturday night i had a full tank of gas,half a pack of cigerettes and 60.00 dollars to my name and an 8 hour drive ahead of me sunday night after it was over but i did have one thing going for me i have a big collection of 60's,70's and 80's sales brochures collected over the years so i took them in to the swap meet and cycled around to all the restoring types and sold a wack of them for 20-30 dollars apiece and didn't even set-up a table and i only sold until i got about 400.00 dollars built up so it all works out right then i went and picked up my new toys and headed for home i left at 7pm and i arrived here at 3.30 am so it made for a long day. first swap meet i've been to in about 10 years. i had a real good time.
