82 kz650 swingarm question?? was created by CPUCK
Hello everyone glad to have found this site for all the good advice, now im in need of some advice. I'm working on my 1982 kz650 (csr) and turning it into a bobber. iv cut the sub-frame off and was hoping to modify the swing arm to just be able to hold the bike up (has anyone ever seen this done?) wondering if theres any tips on how to secure or anything to mount so the swingarm stays in place? i will provide pics of what im talking about when i get home tonight. any advice would be nice, thanks.

Welcome.
Some have removed the shocks and put on metal struts/bars to whatever length they want, depending on what ride height they want to achieve.
If you live in an area with a lot of potholes, you might want to rethink removing the shocks.
