Get up on
www.DennisKirk.com
and enter your bike...different brands in your tires sizes will result from searches. Anything over US$100.00 is free shipping and their prices are very reasonable.

I have put a 140/90-16 on the rear of my '82 KZ650 CSR. The standard size is 130/90-16. The tire fits just fine, but with only about 5 to 8 mm clearance on each side of the swingarm. Chain clearance is OK. Centerstand is also about like the swingarm in clearance. Diameter is no problem.
The tire is a Dunlop Elite 3. Now if some other brand or model were to be made at the outer edge of the sizing tolerance, it might be too large. Therefore I hesitate to say that any and all size 140 tires would fit. I took a chance and it worked out.

Hubs only accept certain tire widths before they get dangerous. Ya don't want to squeeze a big wide tire on too small a rim, it distorts the tire. If you want that look you should be looking for new rims too. Also as was said they have to fit between forks and swingarm. For that look I believe you are looking at some $$$ and heavy fabrication. Not impossible but .......... be advised it is an aesthetic mod and does affect handling adversely by adding centrifugal effect and unsprung weight. Might not matter to you but it is a consideration.
