Have not been able to locate a sissy bar for my 1000, but am still looking. I was thinking of perhaps fabricating something using my existing grab rail as I would prefer it be detachable. Maybe I could rig up something similar to the latches that are used for windshields. Would need to be fail safe though, as believe it or not, would not want to lose the wife of 30 years if that sucker came undone. Took her for a first ride yesterday and the most she could say was she "doesn't itch". She is used to riding on back of the H-D and that thing vibrates.

If any of you have ideas or know where I could locate a sissy bar, please let me know. Thanks.
